My good friends John Weldon and Fland Sharp introduced me to the white squirrels of Brevard College on a mountain biking vacation. We were in Transylvania County so I had my eyes open in search of werewolves and vampires and the like. Only on our return home did I realize the white squirrels were actually ghost squirrels. That realization opened the way to my finding the trunkful of ghost squirrel history that serves as the source material for this website.
